Pondside Café at Monkton Elm

Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre have recently opened their new café by the pond in the garden centre’s beautiful outdoor centre.  The 300 year old former donkey shed is now a light and spacious café with a conservatory looking over the pond.  It has free colouring pencils and paper and a play area for kids, as well as fish and ducks to feed in the summer and additional seating available on the decking outside.  This is a great place to meet other Mums and to stop with the kids for a drink and delicious snack or cake made by their in-house bakers. Editor’s choice is the hot chocolate!
